Mehndi

Mehndi is Most important thing in the world. Because without it,s Girls are not Complete.
The Mehndi   is the application of henna as a temporary form of skin decoration in Eastern countries, as well as by expatriate communities from the country. The word mehndi is derived from the Sanskrit word mendhikā.[1] The use of mehndi and turmeric is described in the earliest Vedic ritual books. Haldi(Staining oneself with turmeric paste) as well as mehndi are important Vedic customs as a symbolic representation of the Outer and the Inner Sun. Vedic customs are meant to awaken the "inner light and so the gold of the inner Sun has an important symbolic function.

Traditional mehndi designs draw the sun on the palm, which in this context represents the mind. Mehndi decorations became fashionable in the West in the late 1990s, where they are sometimes called henna tattoos. Henna is typically applied during special occasions like weddings and Hindu festivals like Karva Chauth, Diwali, Bhaidooj and Teej. In some Hindu festivals, every woman tries to have Henna done on her hands and feet. It is usually drawn on the palms and feet, where the color will be darkest because the skin contains higher levels of keratin which binds temporarily to lawsone, the colorant of henna. Henna was originally used as a form of decoration mainly for brides.

In the Modern age, usually people buy readymade Henna cones, which are ready to use and make painting easy. However, in rural areas in India, women grind fresh henna leaves on sil (grinding stone) with added oil, which though not as refined as professionally prepared henna cones, brings much darker colors.

The term henna tattoo is figurative, because true tattoos are permanent surgical insertions of pigments underneath the skin, as opposed to pigments resting on the surface as is the case with mehndi.

Old Is Gold

Yes, It is true that Old is Gold.
Now a Days Young generation like Old Fashion. Most of us regularly subscribe various homeopathic magazines and journals. Though we read the journals on regular basis, we do not give that much importance in preserving the old volumes. Once we read the articles in these magazines, we may not even get time to read it again. If at all we need to search one article, the particular magazine may not be available with us. Old journals are usually not preserved by most of us, except a few colleges and practitioners. It is very difficult to search for an article we have read years before. At the end of each year, we will have a collection of 12 copies of each magazine. Most of the articles published in these journals are the extract of knowledge from the experience of the authors, references from the source books and latest scientific findings and also from the Internet resources. They also highlight the current affairs and views of the contemporary homeopaths. Hence reading an article is always beneficial, and it gives more confidence and boosts the energy levels of the readers, especially the young homeopaths and students.

Old Fashion

The first documented definition of the word "cocktail" was in response to a reader's letter asking to define the word in the May 6, 1806, issue of The Balance and Columbia Repository in Hudson, New York. In the May 13, 1806, issue, the paper's editor wrote that it was a potent concoction of spirits, bitters, water, and sugar; it was also referred to at the time as a bittered sling.[2][3]
The first alleged use of the specific name "Old Fashioned" was for a Bourbon whiskey cocktail in the 1880s, at the Pendennis Club, a gentlemen’s club inLouisville, Kentucky. The recipe is said to have been invented by a bartender at that club, and popularized by a club member and bourbon distiller, Colonel James E. Pepper, who brought it to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel bar in New York City.[4] The "Old Fashioned" was the favorite cocktail of President Harry S Truman and his wife Bess.
Preparation of a drink quite similar to an Old Fashioned is mentioned in chapter 18 in the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884), second paragraph.

Knowledge of Fashion Histry

Setting trends isn't a simple business. Fashion designers have to stay a step ahead. To do that, they need knowledge about previous styles and movements in fashion history. They also need to be aware of current fashion events and developments.
